JEWEL ICE SKATER SPIN POSITION INVERTED
"The spins are the quintessence of balance, speed and creativity."
The best skaters come to carry out six rotations in a second. To be able to run smoothly, the center of gravity must fall within a precise point of the blade. A pirouette to be technically correct should be fast, focused and as original as possible. Of the four basic positions can arise many positions and figures, which over time have become increasingly complex and spectacular. One is the pirouette with leg caught in the inverted position, "amphora reversed" element of great difficulty especially when extending the arm and the other is about to skid and the bust. Many of the skaters today, as the Russian Yulia Lipnitskaya, European champion in 2014, made magnificent and complex inverted spins, which are characterized by high elasticity.
